Vol 1, No 1 (2026): Número Inaugural
Issue Description
With this inaugural issue, Andean Journal of Engineering Sciences (AJES) takes its first steps as an open space for engineering in the Andean region and Latin America. The eight contributions gathered here cover sustainability, renewable energy, advanced materials, mechanical design, agri-food systems, and the digital and economic dimensions of engineering, showing the breadth and the regional relevance of the work being done. I thank the authors for trusting AJES at this early stage. We hope this issue marks the beginning of a scientific community that grows with rigor, collaboration, and visibility.
